Josh Doctson Confident Heading Into 2018 Season
6 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson is confident heading into his third season in the NFL. He made a graceful leaping catching during organized team activities on Wednesday, something he has rarely shown in his two seasons in D.C. "The biggest thing is confidence level," Doctson said, noting that he feels his increasing as he continues to get settled in. "It's kind of surreal when you first get here, then last year was my first year playing. [Last year] kind of calmed it down and now I'm just back like I was at TCU." The former first-round pick only played in two games his rookie season due to injury and disappointed with just 35 catches for 502 yards and six touchdowns in his sophomore campaign, but Doctson flashed his upside at times last season and could easily break out in his third year with quarterback Alex Smith under center.
