Josh Berry Should Continue Strong Run at Nashville
5 months agoJosh Berry qualified second for this weekend's Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway and has officially solidified himself as the favorite dark horse to get a surprise win on Sunday. Berry and his No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing team are on a bit of a hot streak right now, with finishes of third and seventh over the last two Cup Series races, and top-10 results in four of the last six. He has also finished 16th or better in seven of the last nine. Looking at similar tracks to Nashville this season, Berry came home 20th at Las Vegas, 14th at Dover, and 15th at Kansas. In practice this weekend, the No. 4 Ford looked like one of the strongest on the long runs, ranked third-fastest in 20-lap average. We're not yet calling Josh Berry a favorite on win Cup Series races, but not many would be surprised if he ran near the front all day in Nashville on Sunday and was in position to pull off a surprise victory in the end. He's a tournament play on the DraftKings slate this weekend priced at $7,700.
