Wood Brothers Racing driver Josh Berry will start Sunday's AdventHealth 400 from the 38th position after grazing the wall during qualifying at Kansas Speedway. This is the lowest starting position Berry has ever obtained in his Cup career to date at Kansas. In three previous Cup starts at the site, Berry has two top-25 finishes with a best finish of 15th. In 11 races completed this season, Berry has one win, four top-20 finishes, and an average finish of 22.5. In practice, Berry ranked 35th in overall lap averages, but ranked 22nd or higher in the 10, 15, and 20 consecutive lap average categories. Berry has massive upside due to his starting position, and considering his equipment, he is well worth rostering in all DFS formats this week.

Josh Berry of Wood Brothers Racing had a promising performance during Sunday's Wurth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway that ended in disappointment. Starting the race from the seventh position, Berry had one of the fastest cars right from the beginning. In the first stage, Berry took his first pit stop after a Lap 20 caution for Noah Gragson spinning, but he executed pit strategy by taking two tires instead of four. This allowed Berry to climb into the top five, where he remained throughout the rest of the stage. Berry ended the first stage in the third position and scored stage points. In the second stage, Berry gained the lead and held it for 41 laps before he spun from the lead and crashed on his own. As a result, Berry and his team took his car to the garage, where they could repair it and get him back on track. The No. 21 Ford driver continued racing until the end, placing 32nd and 84 laps down. This would be a new career-best finish for Berry at Texas.

Josh Berry of Wood Brothers Racing will start in the seventh position for this week's Wurth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. This will be Berry's sixth race overall with a top-10 starting position for the 2025 season. Berry did score a DNF due to a crash in his only previous Cup start at Texas, and he has two top-10 finishes in four Xfinity Series races at the site. After 10 races so far this year, Berry has one win and four top-20 finishes with an average finish of 21.6. In practice for Sunday's race, Berry ranked 20th in overall lap averages and ranked among the top 10 fastest in the 25 and 30 consecutive lap average categories. Despite his fast long run speeds, Berry is a huge DFS risk based on his starting position, providing little upside. The No. 21 Ford driver should only be considered for tournaments as a result this week.

Josh Berry of Wood Brothers Racing will start eighth for the Jack Link's 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. This starting position is a new career-best as well as his first top-10 starting spot for Berry at Talladega. In two past starts at the Alabama track, Berry has a best finish of 16th, which he obtained in this exact race one year ago. With nine races completed this season, Berry has one win and two top-10 finishes. As Berry will start in the eighth position, he has little upside from his starting position, making him a driver to avoid in DFS overall, especially as his history at drafting tracks has not been great.
