Josh Bell Cracks 19th Double Of Season
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell continues playing at a career-high level. Bell extended his current hitting streak to eight games by belting his 19th double of the season, although it was his lone hit in four at-bats, in Tuesday's 11-6 loss to the Reds. The 26-year-old has been red-hot at the plate over the last month, registering a slash line of .375/.432/.783 with 12 home runs and 31 RBI. He ranks in the top 10 of several National League offensive categories. Bell is a must-start in all fantasy leagues.
