Josh Allen Picks Up Wrist Injury In AFC Championship Loss
1 day agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (wrist) said on Monday that he's dealing with a wrist injury that he suffered on Sunday in the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. Allen suffered the injury at the goal line on the team's two-point-conversion attempt right before halftime. "Got crunched up a little bit, was able to finish the game, but some swelling and stuff today," Allen said. The 28-year-old's injury doesn't sound very serious, and he'll have all offseason to heal up after the season-ending loss on Sunday. He went 22-for-34 for 237 yards and two passing touchdowns in KC, also rushing 11 times for 39 yards. Despite finishing as a top-five QB yet again for fantasy managers during the regular season, Allen couldn't get over the hump in the postseason against the Chiefs and is now 0-4 against Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs.
