Jose Urquidy Available Out Of The 'Pen In Game 4
3 years agoHouston Astros pitcher Jose Urquidy was originally slated to start Game 4 of the ALDS against the Chicago White Sox. However, after the game was postponed from Monday to Tuesday, manager Dusty Baker decided to go with Lance McCullers Jr. as the team's starter on short rest instead. As a result, Urquidy will be available out of the bullpen for the game, according to Baker. The 26-year-old right-hander has yet to pitch this postseason, but he made eight appearances (four starts) over the last two postseasons and performed well, pitching to a 2.46 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP.
