Jose Urena Looks To Rebound From Rough Opening Day Outing
7 years agoMiami Marlins starter Jose Urena looks to bounce back from a rough Opening Day start where he was hit early and often. Urena, who led the club with 14 wins last season, gave up five earned runs in only four innings of work against the Cubs, including a home run to Chicago's Ian Happ on the first pitch of the new season. The righty went on to hit three batters in the inning and was eventually pulled after the fourth inning. He enters Tuesday's game against Boston with an 11.25 ERA and a 2.50 WHIP. If he wants his first win of the year, he'll have to get it against the mighty Chris Sale.
