Jose Ureña Gets First Win of 2018 in Lackluster Performance
6 years agoAfter beginning the season 0-7, Miami Marlins starter Jose Ureña finally got his first win on Tuesday against the Cardinals in ironically one of his worst starts of the year. Ureña allowed four runs on a season-high 10 hits and one walk while striking out two. While he has shown some promise in fantasy with five quality starts and five starts with six or more strikeouts, his inconsistency will prevent him from being anything more than an above-average streaming option in most leagues. Ureña's next start will come at home against the Padres, who he recorded a quality start against in his last start by allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings.
