Jose Urena Could Start Against The Braves Next Monday
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Jose Urena could make his season debut next Monday against the Braves with starting pitcher Elieser Hernandez (hamstring) likely to miss his scheduled start that day. Urena has been out all season with a positive coronavirus test, but the 28-year-old is cleared to rejoin the team and is stretched out to start. Urena will look to bounce back from a poor 2019 season that saw him post a 5.21 ERA after posting a 3.90 mark over the previous two seasons, but the Braves represent a tough matchup with the seventh-highest OPS in the MLB this season.
