Jose Ramirez Swats 30th Home Run On Wednesday
4 months agoCleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez went 1-for-4 in Game 2 of Wednesday's doubleheader loss to the Diamondbacks with a score of 5-3. Ramirez's lone hit was his 30th home run of the season, a solo shot off of starter Eduardo Rodriguez in the sixth inning that brought the Guardians to within one, but they ultimately would not be able to complete the comeback. The 31-year-old has been on base via hit or walk in 18 consecutive games now and has six home runs in his last nine games. For the season, the switch-hitter owns a .282-30-96-85-25 line, making him one of the most valuable multi-category producers in fantasy.
