Jose Ramirez Hits 23rd Homer On Monday
3 years agoCleveland Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez hit his 23rd homer of the season during a 5-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in extra innings. The 28-year-old took Blue Jays relief pitcher Brad Hand deep during the 10th inning and finished the night 2-for-5 with the homer and two RBI. The three-time All-Star is now hitting .255/.344/.525 with 64 RBI, 68 runs scored and 11 steals over 341 at-bats on the season. Ramirez is also sporting an 11.3% barrel rate, 90.9 mph average exit velo, and 46.1% hard hit rate, all career highs. Ramirez is in the prime of his career and is one of the best options at the hot corner in all of fantasy baseball.
