Jose Ramirez Collects Two Hits In Win Over Rangers
4 years agoCleveland Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Rangers. Ramirez has had a bit of a quiet spring- he has yet to hit a homer- so it was nice to see him raise his average to .276. The 28-year-old had another strong season in 2020, slashing .292/.386/.607 with 17 home runs, 46 RBI, 45 runs scored, and 10 stolen bases in 58 games. Ramirez is the rare type of fantasy asset who excels in both formats. He's a five-category producer in roto formats- and his ability to produce monster numbers while avoiding strikeouts makes him valuable in points leagues. He's worth every bit of his first-round ADP.
