4 years agoChicago Cubs pitcher Jose Quintana has been activated from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. Quintana was sidelined after suffering a thumb injury unloading dishes. Quintana lost his spot in the rotation and Alec Mills has been rewarded by retaining the number five spot in the rotation. The veteran lefty will return as a bullpen member and with Mills having the confidence of manager David Ross and Tyler Chatwood performing, Quintana could need an injury to be reinserted into the rotation.
