6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infielder/outfielder Jose Martinez came up empty on Wednesday, finishing 0-for-5. That brought his line to .077/.077/.154. With Paul Goldschmidt holding down first base and a group of talented outfielders on the squad as well, Martinez is going to need to turn it on soon if he wants to keep seeing semi-regular at bats.
