5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infielder/outfielder Jose Martinez had a strong offensive game on Friday, driving in three runs in a 12-11 win over the Reds. Martinez went 2-for-3 with a walk, a home run, and a single. He also scored two runs of his own, bringing his slash line up to .277/.346/.422. He's had an up-and-down season with inconsistent playing time, but he's been mostly solid in the batter's box when he starts.
