6 years agoTexas Rangers pitcher Jose Leclerc will serve as the opener for Friday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. This will be Leclerc's first career start in the MLB. Leclerc began the season as the closer, but struggled, so Chris Martin took over as the closer in Arlington. Leclerc is expected to pitch an inning or two on Friday. Right-hander Adrian Sampson will take over after that.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
