Seattle Mariners catcher Jose Godoy has been called up to the majors Thursday, taking the place of the demoted Luis Torrens. Godoy can be expected to take over back-up duties behind starting catcher Tom Murphy. Godoy has produced well at Triple-A Tacoma through 32 plate appearances with a .310/.375/.517 slash line, but he can be ignored by fantasy managers in all formats for now.--Doug Goldring
