1 year agoMinnesota Twins reliever Jose De Leon (elbow) underwent an MRI on Monday after suffering an elbow injury during his last appearance on Saturday against the Detroit Tigers. According to MLB.com, the MRI revealed a torn UCL and the right-hander will require Tommy John surgery. De Leon with miss the remainder of the season and most, if not all, of 2024. The 30-year-old's injury won't affect many fantasy formats, as he had pitched to a 4.67 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 24.3% strikeout rate across 17.1 innings with no saves or holds.--Spencer Seguin
