Jose Alvarado To Miss Next Two Weeks
1 year agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado (knee) is expected to miss an extended period of time. Alvarado suffered a right ankle sprain during an offseason workout. He was re-evaluated on Monday and the organization decided to shut down Alvarado for the next two weeks. That means, the 25-year-old will miss at least the first two weeks of the regular season. The Pelicans are likely to use a committee approach to fill the void. Dyson Daniels and Larry Nance Jr. have the best chance to produce in his absence, assuming both players are given extended minutes.
