3 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (hamstring) has been ruled out for both Tuesday's game and Wednesday's game by Astros manager Dusty Baker. On Tuesday, Baker stated that he was "pleasantly surprised" by how well Altuve was doing with his left hamstring strain. Baker emphasized that Altuve remains day-to-day. The Astros are off on Thursday, so Altuve will have multiple days to recover before the team opens up a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
