Jose Altuve Homers On Wednesday
3 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve went 1-for-5 with a solo homer during an 8-5 loss to the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday. The 31-year-old took Mariners starting pitcher Tyler Anderson deep during the fifth inning for his 27th homer of the season. After a rough 2020, the seven-time All-Star has rebounded this season, posting 27 HR, 71 RBI, 94 R, and four stolen bases with a .272/.347/.481 line across 514 at-bats. While no longer the premier option at second base in fantasy, the 2017 AL MVP has produced in most categories and table sets for a strong Houston lineup.
