3 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is getting the day off on Saturday as the team takes on right-hander Jon Gray and the Texas Rangers. This is merely a scheduled day off for the 32-year-old veteran. Outfielder Jose Siri will be taking on leadoff duties for Saturday's game while Aledmys Diaz will be covering the keystone. Altuve has been swinging a hot bat since returning from the injured list on May 2. He's slashing .333/.397/.712 so far this month with seven home runs, 10 RBI and 16 runs.
