Jose Altuve Day-To-Day With Hamstring Strain
3 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (hamstring) was forced to exit Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Angels. He suffered a left hamstring strain while running out an infield single in the eighth inning of the contest. Aledmys Diaz came into the game to run for him. After the game, Astros manager Dusty Baker called Altuve day-to-day. It doesn't sound like anything major for the 31-year-old, who is slashing .167/.268/.250 over nine games this year. Keep an eye out for updates on Altuve ahead of Game 2 of the series Tuesday.
