1 year agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (leg) is back in the starting lineup Sunday evening against the New York Yankees and right-hander Michael King. The veteran left Friday's contest versus the Yankees after making just one trip to the plate and did not appear in Saturday's game between the two clubs. It's been an injury-riddled season for the 33-year-old as Altuve has appeared in just 65 games this season. That said, he's been productive when healthy, hitting .312 with 10 home runs, 13 stolen bases, and a .913 OPS across 293 trips to the plate. However, a rather quick return to the lineup is a boon for both the Astros and fantasy managers who could use a combination of power and speed down the stretch.--Brenton Kemp
