Jorge Soler Returns To Thursday's Lineup
1 year agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jorge Soler (hip) is back in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Washington Nationals and right-hander Joan Adon, serving as the designated hitter and batting second for the Fish. Soler was removed from the game early several days ago due to hip tightness after a swing and miss, but he's back in there now and should be returned to starting fantasy lineups. The 31-year-old Cuban slugger is having a phenomenal year in his second year in Miami in 2023, slashing .241/.328/.515 with an .843 OPS, 35 home runs (second-most of his career), 22 doubles, 71 RBI and 70 runs scored in 125 games. He's clubbed 10 home runs and driven in 15 in 23 starts in the month of August.
