Jorge Soler Remains Sidelined
3 months agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Jorge Soler (hamstring) remains out of the starting lineup ahead of Friday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. The veteran slugger suffered a left hamstring strain during Wednesday's contest. He hasn't played since then, but the Braves don't believe Soler will require a trip to the injured list. For now, fantasy managers should consider the 32-year-old as day-to-day. In his absence, Marcell Ozuna will bat third and serve as the designated hitter against right-hander Jose Soriano. It also means Ramon Laureano will probably see more action in right field, but he doesn't offer much upside with the bat. Fantasy managers who have Soler rostered are likely going to have to wait a few more days. Hopefully Soler can return by early next week at the latest. Fantasy managers will need to stay tuned for more updates on his status.
