Jorge Soler Picks Up An RBI As Miami Loses Again
1 year agoMiami Marlins outfielder/designated hitter Jorge Soler went 1-for-3 an RBI, and a pair of strikeouts in a 4-3 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Saturday. Soler added to Miami's lead in the bottom of the fifth inning with a sacrifice fly to score Luis Arraez. He also collected a single in the contest and fanned twice. Soler is going through a bit of a power drought at the moment with just two home runs in the month of July and just one since the All-Star break. Miami has also dropped eight in a row so things could be going better in South Florida. The 31-year-old slugger is still having an impressive season overall, however, with a .245/.338/.504 batting line to go along with 24 home runs, 54 RBI, and one stolen base over 351 at-bats. The power should start to tick up soon as Soler tends to hit them in bunches.
