2 years agoMiami Marlins designated hitter/outfielder Jorge Soler (back) was seen participating in outfield drills on Monday, per the Miami Herald's Jordan McPherson. This is encouraging for both the Marlins and fantasy managers, as Soler missed a large chunk of the 2022 season with pelvic and back issues. The 30-year-old slashed .207/.295/.400 with 13 home runs and 34 RBI in the 306 plate appearances he did have with the Marlins in 2022. Soler has mostly been valuable in fantasy for his power production, so health will be a key factor heading into the season. Soler's current draft position is about 302 overall, so his health is worth keeping an eye on as baseball activities progress through the spring.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
