Jorge Soler Leads Marlins To Rout Over Dodgers
1 year agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jorge Soler led the charge on Friday night in the team's 11-3 drubbing of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Soler, batting leadoff and serving as the designated hitter, went 2-for-4 with two home runs, two RBI, three runs scored, a walk and a strikeout in the offensive outburst. The 31-year-old Cuban slugger is really starting to heat up in the month of August, as he's now gone 14-for-54 (.259) with seven home runs, a double, 11 RBI and 10 runs scored in 14 starts. He's cleared the fences four times in his last four contests. Overall, Soler has displayed impressive power for his fantasy managers in 2023, and he's currently slashing .245/.335/.515 with an .851 OPS, 32 homers, 67 RBI and 67 runs scored in his 429 at-bats.
