Jorge Soler Inks Three-Year Deal With Giants
9 months agoFree-agent outfielder/designated hitter Jorge Soler has signed a three-year, $42 million contract with the San Francisco Giants. It has been reported recently that Soler was in search of a three-year pact on the open market and he indeed gets it in the Bay Area. The 31-year-old is coming off a big season with the Marlins in which he swatted 36 home runs alongside an 11.4% BB% and an .853 OPS across 137 games. The veteran played just 241 2/3 innings in the outfield, however, as he's likely slated for everyday reps at DH with the Giants in 2024. Nonetheless, he should remain outfield-eligible in fantasy baseball, and considering ATC is projecting 30 more home runs and 76 RBI from the slugger in 2024, his 153.10 ADP is certainly warranted.
