Jorge Soler Hitting Leadoff Tuesday
1 year agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jorge Soler is serving as the designated hitter and batting leadoff for the Fish on Tuesday against Cincinnati Reds right-hander Luke Weaver. It will be Soler's first time batting leadoff for Miami in 2023, and he'll push the hit machine Luis Arraez to the two-hole. The 31-year-old Cuban slugger has just one multi-hit game since July 28 and is hitting .250 (10-for-40) with three home runs, a double, six RBI and seven runs in 10 starts over that span. Soler has given his fantasy managers plenty of pop but not much else. In 403 at-bats on the year, he's hitting .241 with 27 long balls, 60 RBI, just one stolen base and 61 runs scored over 109 games as an All-Star for the first time in his 10-year big-league career.
