Jorge Soler Hits Solo Home Run Friday
1 year agoMiami Marlins DH Jorge Soler went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk in a 16-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves on Friday. Soler's third-inning blast traveled 410 feet and had an exit velocity of 112.4 MPH. The veteran slugger is putting together a solid season for the Marlins, slashing .245/.344/.521 with 22 homers, 44 runs, 47 RBI, and a stolen base across 286 at-bats. Soler has been struggling at the plate of late, hitting just .192 over his past 15 games, so hopefully his homer on Friday will get his bat going for fantasy gamers.
