Jorge Soler Hits His Fourth Home Run On Wednesday
4 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler helped lead the team to a 6-4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. He went 1-for-3 in the game and hit a solo home run, his fourth home run of the year. Soler is off to a dreadful start to the season. Through 42 games, he's slashing just .196/.280/.357. He was a disappointment to fantasy managers in 2020, but at least he managed eight home runs over 43 games. Soler still has some elite power peripherals (94.4 mph average exit velocity, 55.8% hard-hit rate), but it's hard to roster him when his surface stats are so troubling. He can remain on waivers in all leagues, but keep an eye on him in case he heats up.
