Jorge Soler Hits First Spring Home Run
4 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler went yard for the first time this spring in Tuesday's game against the Seattle Mariners. He hit a two-run shot in the fourth inning against Mariners pitcher Gerson Bautista. Soler is off to a slow start this spring. He's slashing .167/.250/.389. His two RBI in Tuesday's game were his first two this spring. Last year, Soler had a disappointing follow-up to his monster 48-home run 2019 campaign. In 2020, he slashed .228/.326/.443 with eight home runs over 43 games. He's a solid bounce-back candidate this year, though he may only be eligible for designated hitter in some leagues, which hurts his value.
