Jorge Soler Goes Yard For His Eighth Home Run
3 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in the team's 5-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday. The home run was his eighth of the year and just his second since June 10. It's been a dreadful year for Soler, who is slashing .185/.280/.324 over 86 games. He ranks in the 95th percentile in the league in max exit velocity (115.1 mph) and in the 89th percentile in hard-hit rate (49.7%), so it's reasonable to think better power numbers should be coming. However, until he actually starts producing, he should remain on waivers in all leagues.
