Jorge Polanco To Be Re-Evaluated Friday
2 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco (hamstring) will be re-evaluated on Friday, according to MLB.com. The one-time All-Star exited Wednesday's game with a mild left hamstring strain, and it seems like he'll avoid the injured list. However, fantasy managers should check back when there's an update on the ailment. Polanco was slashing .284/.327/.484 with four homers, 10 runs, 14 RBI, and one steal across 23 games, and hopefully, he's back for the weekend series against the Los Angeles Angels to continue to provide top numbers from the keystone position. If he is forced to miss time, expect Donovan Solano to get most of the reps in his place. The veteran has always been a batting average contributor and is hitting .261 this season, but that's about all fantasy managers will get.
