Jorge Polanco Starts Rehab Assignment Sunday
1 year agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco (hamstring) started a rehab assignment on Sunday with Triple-A Saint Paul, going 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, and a strikeout. Polanco has been out of action since June 8 with a hamstring injury that has hampered him for most of the season. When he's been healthy, Polanco has been decent, slashing .250/.291/.450 over 120 at-bats. The 30-year-old isn't a must-roster player anymore, but he can help out a fantasy team in need of a second baseman or middle infielder, especially in deeper leagues.
