Jorge Polanco Hits 13th Long Ball
3 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in a losing effort to the White Sox. Polanco slugged a 104.1 MPH homer that traveled 361 feet. The 28-year-old has been a solid fantasy infielder, ranking among the top-100 hitters in batting average, home runs, RBI, and OPS while posting the best barrel rate of his career and just a 15 percent strikeout rate. Even if the Twins trade some of their lineup muscle away at the trade deadline, Polanco should still be a solid source of both run-scoring and producing in the heart of the order for Minnesota.
