Jorge Polanco Has Four-Hit Day
4 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco had one of the better games of his career at the plate Wednesday. Polanco went 4-for-6 with a pair of runs scored and an RBI in the 13-12 loss to the Athletics. The 27-year-old has raised his batting average from .091 to .212 over the last two weeks- and seems to be healthy after a 2020 campaign riddled by injury. Polanco has yet to hit his first home run, though he has always showcased better power when batting from the left side of the plate- and he'll get two matchups against Pirates' right-handed pitchers on Friday and Saturday after Thursday's off day.
