Jorge Polanco Dealing With Knee Soreness
9 seconds agoSeattle Mariners infielder Jorge Polanco (knee) is dealing with soreness in his left knee and will be held out of the starting nine on Sunday afternoon. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next contest on Monday evening against the Houston Astros. Polanco underwent surgery on his knee last October but did not deal with too many issues during camp. However, the team will opt to exercise caution during the early part of the campaign. Instead, Dylan Moore will start at the hot corner, and Ryan Bliss will get the nod at the keystone. Through his first five games of the season, Polanco has enjoyed a strong start, posting a .450/.476/.750 slash line with two home runs and eight RBI. Polanco remains a solid depth infielder in deeper formats, given his strong start to the season.
