Jorge Polanco Continues Hot Spring Start
4 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco has enjoyed a strong spring so far. Polanco has six hits, two runs scored, and an RBI along with five walks to just one strikeout in eight Grapefruit League games. The 27-year-old has shown increased patience at the plate, which is certainly a positive sign after he posted the lowest walk rate of his career during the shortened 2020 season. Health seems to be on Polanco's side this spring, so if his barrel and fly ball rates regress to the mean, the power numbers that eluded him last season could return in 2021. He may not approach his 2019 All-Star numbers, but he could return to form and be a discounted piece of a potentially powerful Twins' lineup at his 229 ADP.
