Jorge Polanco Batting Fifth, Joe Mauer Back In
6 years agoAfter reinstating shortstop Jorge Polanco, the Minnesota Twins have inserted him into the starting lineup on Monday. He will bat fifth after outfielder Robbie Grossman and before third baseman Willians Astudillo. First baseman Joe Mauer is back in the lineup and will lead off. Max Kepler is at center field and Bobby Wilson will catch for starting pitcher Kyle Gibson. Infielder Eduardo Escobar will sit against the host Milwaukee Brewers. Brewers starting pitcher Brent Suter has held the Twins in check in his career, but it will be interesting to see how Polanco fares in his return to the big leagues. The Twins have shown signs of life in their collective offense their last three games, but their individual players have been hard to trust as daily fantasy streamers. Other than Mauer and Astudillo in the last seven days at least, daily fantasy players can probably find better options elsewhere.
