Jorge Alfaro Scratched From Rehab Start
3 years agoMiami Marlins catcher Jorge Alfaro (hamstring) was scratched from his rehab appearance on Thursday, according to Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald. Alfaro was originally scheduled to appear in Game 1 of the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp's doubleheader, but he was scratched from the lineup and then did not appear in Game 2 either. There's no word yet as to why Alfaro was scratched, as he was looking to work his way back from a hamstring strain that has kept him sidelined since April 20. Based on the fact he didn't appear in either game though, it seems like this is likely a setback of some kind. In 10 games this season, Alfaro is slashing .229/.250/.257 with one steal, three RBI and one run scored in 10 games.
