4 years agoMiami Marlins catcher Jorge Alfaro (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list before Wednesday's game. In a corresponding move, Miami has selected Sandy Leon from the Alternate Training Site. Alfaro was forced to leave Tuesday's game after hurting himself trying to run out a ground ball. He already missed four games earlier in April due to a hamstring issue, and with a road trip coming up and an already short bench, the Marlins couldn't risk keeping Alfaro around if he wasn't going to be able to play. No Marlins catcher seems worthy of a spot in fantasy leagues right now.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
