Jordy Nelson Cut After One Season In Oakland
6 years agoThe Oakland Raiders released veteran wide receiver Jordy Nelson on Thursday, a source informed of the situation told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Nelson was a disappointment in his lone season in Oakland, catching 63 passes for 739 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games (14 starts). He'll turn 31 years old and can still help a team out, but Nelson's days of being fantasy relevant might be coming to an end soon. There was less of a need to keep Nelson after the Raiders added receivers Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams this week.
