4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Jordan Yamamoto will get the start for Thursday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. The game will be played in Baltimore, but the Marlins will be the home team as they go for a four-game sweep. Yamamoto had signs of excellence last season, but struggled with consistency and developed some control issues as the season went on. He was originally not in the starting rotation (or on the active roster) to start the season, but with 18 Marlins dealing with COVID-19, he is one of the players the team called up to get their season unpaused.
