Jordan Yamamoto Struggles In Thursday's Start
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Jordan Yamamoto struggled in his first start of the season on Thursday, lasting just four innings while allowing four runs on six hits. He struck out four and did not allow a walk but did give up two home runs. Yamamoto got in trouble last season when he threw too many balls, so while it was nice to see him throw a lot of strikes and not even walk a single batter in this one, he looked mostly hittable, especially when pitching from the stretch. Yamamoto has shown some promising signs, but he has not been able to put it all together just yet.
