Jordan Yamamoto Pitches Well Against Atlanta
5 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Jordan Yamamoto was impressive despite his team falling to the Atlanta Braves on a rainy Friday evening. The 23-year-old logged six innings, allowing just two hits while striking out seven and walking three. Though he wasn’t able to pick up a victory thanks to the lack of support on the offensive end, it was still an exceptional outing nonetheless. With the All-Star break on the horizon, Yamamoto is sporting a solid 1.24 ERA to go along with 30 strikeouts on the year. He has walked his fair share of batters, but he has quickly become one of the most efficient fantasy performers this season.
