Jordan Wilkins' Stock on the Rise
6 years agoAccording to Kevin Bowen of 1070thefan, Indianapolis Colts rookie running back Jordan Wilkins has been making a name for himself at training camp and impressing the team's coaching staff. Bowen believes that the Colts have come to trust Wilkins after his strong performance against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1 of the preseason where he converted six carries into 21 rushing yards with very little help from the offensive line. While Wilkins doesn't appear to have earned first-team reps just yet, he has just about as good a chance as any back on the roster of earning the starting gig with Marlon Mack dealing with a hamstring issue. The Colts usage of their running back group should be monitored throughout the rest of the preseason to see if any of them can develop into a useful fantasy play.
