1 month agoLos Angeles Rams rookie wide receiver Jordan Whittington (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday and was officially ruled out for the team's Thursday night showdown against the Minnesota Vikings. Whittington, a sixth-round pick out of Texas back in April, didn't exactly take advantage of both Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Puka Nacua (knee) being in four games fantasy-wise, as he caught 16 of 21 targets for 179 yards and no touchdowns during that span. Kupp is returning on Thursday night and Nacua could, too, which essentially wrecks the deep-league streaming appeal Whittington might have had. The 24-year-old was active in the Week 7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders but played only nine offensive snaps and will now look to get healthy for a Week 9 contest against the division-rival Seattle Seahawks.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
